Labels in the dance genre have been doing this for years, even though some acapellas are protected and only released to industry insiders. You have numerous ways of earning revenues off of one complete package. Why not release acapellas in the same manner that your release singles on iTunes? People could purchase Lil Wayne's "John" as a complete song, or just the acapella for a price? You can even sell musical stems.
